Finance Room — Privacy Policy

Finance Room is a private, single-user personal finance application operated by an individual ("the operator") solely for managing their own personal bank account information. It is not a commercial service and has no other users.

What data is accessed

With the operator's explicit consent, the application accesses the operator's own bank account information — account details and transaction history — on a strictly read-only basis. Access is provided through Enable Banking Oy, an FCA-authorised Account Information Service Provider, under the operator's own Open Banking consent. The application initiates no payments and makes no changes to any account.

How data is stored and used

Retrieved account and transaction data is stored locally on the operator's own device and is used exclusively for the operator's personal budgeting and financial overview. The data is not shared, sold, transferred, or disclosed to any third party. No advertising, profiling, analytics, or tracking is performed.

Retention and control

Because the data resides locally on the operator's device, the operator retains full control and may delete it at any time. Open Banking access is time-limited and requires periodic re-authorisation; it can be revoked at any time through the operator's bank or through Enable Banking.
